We rezoned Dennis Port Plaza where Job Lot and Dollar Tree are located. We now have a new owner. I have discussed the advantages of the Village Center zoning with the new ownership and hope we will soon see new life in the Plaza.
An interesting read. As we continue expanding our sidewalk network we need to consider the land uses served by these investments. Recently I walked the Route 28 corridor targeted for sidewalk upgrades with the Health Director and Chair of the Dennis Port Revitalization Committee. Future housing opportunities was a part of the conversation for this area. Perhaps the needs assessment in this report can provide us with some guidance.
